Partners in Anatomy

Physical therapists from surrounding communities are paired with first-year DPT students who are enrolled in the Human Anatomy curriculum content at Elon. During monthly sessions in the Elon Human Anatomy Laboratory, DPT students share anatomical knowledge and practicing therapists provide clinical insight and relevance to the topics. This relationship provides an opportunity for local therapists to access North Carolina Physical Therapy Continued Competency Credits and for Elon DPT students to have access to mentoring by practicing therapists.
