EDU 324A: Literacy Development II: Strategies for Instruction for the Struggling Reader

Teacher candidates in EDU 324A conduct afterschool tutoring at a local Title I school with groups of struggling readers. Pairs of students work with groups of 5-7 students. The teacher candidates carry out literacy assessments and, based on the results, design student-centered, developmentally appropriate literacy lessons.
