Club Esports

Club Esports is a competitive and community-focused organization that provides students with opportunities to compete, improve their gaming skills, and connect with others who share an interest in esports and gaming culture. The club welcomes both competitive and casual gamers, creating an inclusive environment where members can build friendships, develop teamwork skills, and represent Elon in collegiate competition.

The organization is located on the first floor of Sato Commons, where members have access to a dedicated gaming space featuring twelve PCs available for student use. Club Esports competes in collegiate leagues and tournaments such as the NECC and NACE across a variety of games and competitive titles.

Recent Successes

Club Esports continues to expand its competitive presence by fielding multiple teams in collegiate competition throughout the academic year. The organization regularly competes in NECC and NACE events while continuing to grow participation and opportunities for students interested in competitive gaming.

Dues

Dues: approximately $55 per semester

Practices and Competitions

Teams typically hold practices, scrimmages, and matches throughout the week based on each game title’s competitive schedule. Tryouts for competitive teams take place at the beginning of each semester, though students are encouraged to join the club community at any time for casual gaming, coaching opportunities, and community events.

The club supports both competitive and recreational participation, allowing students to engage with esports at a variety of skill levels.
