Campus Recreation has several facilities across the Elon Campus. The hours for all of these facilities can be found on our Hours of Operation page. To reserve a facility, students must use Phoenix Connect and faculty/staff must use Phoenix SPACES. Contact us at 336-278-7529 or campusrec@elon.edu with any questions. For any off campus groups see the information guide (link to PDF with rental rates) on reserving any of our spaces.

Our Facilities

Koury Athletic Center

The Koury Athletic Center is the largest Campus Recreation facility on campus and has spaces that include a full fitness center, basketball court, racquetball courts, Pilates studio, multipurpose rooms used for fitness classes, and a pool. Any equipment needed for any of these spaces can be rented for free at one of the staffed desks inside the facility.

Beck Pool

Beck Pool is a 25 meter indoor swimming pool. This pool mainly functions as an open recreation pool but is also home to our Elon Club Swim Teams.

PARC Fitness Center and Gym

The PARC Fitness Center is a smaller fitness space within the Danieley Neighborhood for students, faculty, and staff to use. We have both strength and cardio equipment in this facility.

The PARC Gym contains 2 basketball or volleyball courts. It is also a large enough space on campus to host large annual events such as Relay for Life. During open recreation hours there are volleyballs and basketballs available for rent.

Driving Range

The driving range is open all to Phoenix Card holders and Alamance Country Club members. Range balls can be purchased from the golf ball dispenser, which is located next to the Elon Golf Team facility. Directions for use of the golf ball dispenser are posted on the dispenser. The driving range ball dispenser only takes credit cards.

Fees to use the driving range:

  • Small Bucket – 30 balls – $3.00
  • Medium bucket – 60 balls – $5.00
  • Large bucket – 90 balls – $7.00

South Gym

South Gym houses two different spaces. The first indoor space is able to be set up for indoor soccer/futsal, hockey, pickleball, or badminton. The second indoor space is set up as a basketball court but is typically used for events needing more open space.

Challenge Course

The Challenge Course is the newest addition to Campus Recreation with construction finishing in the summer of 2024. It is a multilevel high ropes course featuring 10 elements as well as 11 low course elements. This facility is designed for your group to team build, grow leadership skills, and to have fun. You can book your group here (link) or on the page to the left.

Comer Fields

The Comer Fields on South Campus provide spaces for our Intramural leagues and tournaments, and the following Club Sports: Rugby, Soccer, Lacrosse, and Ultimate Frisbee.

Francis Center Pickleball Court

The Francis Center Pickleball Courts are located just outside of the Francis Center. There are two pickleball courts and one basketball court at this location. The courts are first come, first served and are open for use from dawn to dusk. No equipment is available at this location so you must provide your own.

Francis Center Fields

The Francis Center Baseball/Softball and Field Hockey Fields are home to the Elon Club Baseball, Softball, and Field Hockey Teams. These fields are not available for open recreation but can be reserved.
