Jewish Studies Internships

The Internship in Jewish Studies, JST 481, provides students with the opportunity to explore Jewish Studies outside of a classroom setting.  Prerequsites: At least one course in Jewish Studies and permission of the Jewish Studies program coordinator.

Local Opportunities

The Greensboro Jewish Federation, the central organization of the Jewish Community in the Piedmont Triad region, offers internship opportunities (with stipends available) in:

  • grant-writing
  • marketing
  • oral history
  • developing resources for Holocaust education
  • researching current events
  • researching the Triad Jewish community
  • developing the Triad Jewish Film Festival
  • video interviewing and editing for The Jewish Foundation of Greensboro
  • working with Jewish Family Services, also an approved site for internships through Elon’s Department of Human Service Studies
