Reserve a Fitness Workout Time
Fitness centers in Koury and the PARC continue to utilize new policies and protocols that were established this fall, including a reservation system. Here’s a few things to know about the new fitness reservation system:
- Reservations will be scheduled through IMLeagues. If you don’t already have an account, you can create one on www.imleagues.com or by downloading the IMLeagues app. You must use your Elon email address to create an account.
- The reservation window opens every Thursday at 12:00pm for the following week.
- Select the “Workout Reservations” tab from the Elon page on IMLeagues to see available times
- You can only select one workout time per day.
- If the time you want is full, you can add your name to the wait list and you will be contacted if a spot becomes available.
- You must have a reservation to use Stewart Fitness Center, Studio 5 Fitness Center, and the PARC Fitness Center – walk-ups will not be permitted.
Fall 2020 Facility & Program Information
We are proud to offer a variety of facilities and programs with modifications to keep members of the Elon University community active and safe. The fall 2020 information website provides an overview of RecWell changes, along with other pages that include information on fitness centers, other facility operations, program modifications, and online wellness resources. You can also check out any of the pages on our website for specific program offerings.
Campus Recreation & Wellness will be offering several student flu vaccination clinics throughout the fall semester. Flu vaccines are required for all students, so these clinics are a convenient opportunity to receive a vaccine. Students must register for each on-campus clinic – registration and other information is available on the flu clinics website.
Stay Healthy with Student Wellness Programs
We’ve all had health and well-being on our minds, but COVID-19 safety is only part of what will keep you well this year. We offer a variety of student wellness programs and resources, including our SPARKS peer educators, across a wide variety of wellness topics, including substance educations, sexual/relationship health, and stress management. Also be sure to stop by Koury Center 146 to check out the new SPARKS Office in the Mind-Body Connection Center.
The fall group exercise schedule is available on the GX website and includes indoor, outdoor, and virtual classes. All fall group exercise classes are free to students, faculty, and staff. We are also accepting interest forms for personal training.
There are still a few spots left to join one of our fall Elon Outdoors trips. You can also visit the ELOA Resource Center in the Alumni Gym concourse Monday-Friday from 12:00-5:00pm for help planning your own adventure – and if you don’t have equipment, check out our equipment rental page.
