Summer Hours of Operation
Summer hours of operation are in effect through Thursday, August 19. There is no longer a reservation system required for use of the fitness centers or racquetball/squash courts, however all other Elon University health and safety guidelines apply in all RecWell facilities. Campus Recreation & Wellness Face Coverings Policy
Effective Tuesday, June 1, those who are fully vaccinated, and are comfortable with removing masks, are not required to wear a mask inside. Those not vaccinated are not required to wear a mask while in the pool or showers, but are required to wear a mask in other locations in the facility, including the pool deck and locker rooms.
Summer Fitness Programs
Campus Recreation & Wellness is taking new personal training clients this summer – more information is on the personal training website. Additionally, we are offering two group exercise classes each week free to anyone with a Phoenix Card. You can reserve a spot using IMLeagues or drop in and you will be admitted to class if there are open spots. The classes are:
- Tuesdays at 12:30 – Total Body HIIT in Studio 6
- Thursdays at 5:15 – Cycle in Koury Commons
Elon Challenge Offers Team and Group Development
The Elon Challenge is a experiential team development program that focuses on building community and strengthening teams. Whether you come to the course, we come to you, or you participate in a virtual program, we help your group work together to reach beyond their perceived boundaries, overcome obstacles, and experience success in a variety of problem-solving initiatives.
