Through guided discussion in a small-group setting (limited to 12 participants), attendees will explore their roles in facilitating supportive measures, managing complex situations, and creating environments rooted in care and accountability. This session offers space for reflection, shared learning, and practical insight in a collaborative setting.
Learning Goals:
- Reflect on how to support individuals who have been impacted by sexual violence
- Assess how your role can help facilitate supportive measures
- Analyze strategies for managing spaces where students have been impacted by sexual violence
Beyond the Rumors: When Someone You Know is Accused of Harm
Beyond the Rumors is a 75-minute, reflection-based workshop designed for small groups of up to 12 participants. Together, we’ll explore how to respond when someone in our community is accused of harm, such as sexual misconduct, and consider what it means to navigate these situations with care, accountability, and compassion. Participants will also learn about support options available and share strategies for managing complex social dynamics within their communities.
Learning Goals:
- Gain confidence in knowing how to respond if someone you know is accused of sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating violence, or stalking
