Morgan Patrick

Morgan Patrick is Assistant Professor of music theory at Elon University. His work explores how listeners perceive and make sense of musical patterns within phrases, songs, and larger works. He has special interests in the analysis and psychology of film music, engaged music theory pedagogy, and connections between the structural organization of music, language, and narrative.
