Brief Biography

Dr. Eaves, an associate professor of Political Science, joined Elon in 2013.  She received her B.A. in Political Science from Furman University in 2004 and then went on to the University of Georgia.  At UGA, she earned a Masters in Public Administration, followed by a Ph.D. in Political Science.  Broadly, her research focuses on U.S. political institutions such as Congress and the President, with a particular focus on U.S. congressional elections. In addition, Dr. Eaves is committed to fostering political and civic engagement efforts on campus.
