Brief Biography

Greg L. Zaiser has served as Vice President for Enrollment at Elon University since June 2012.  Prior to his current position, he served the university as Dean of Admissions for six years.  A 1990 graduate of Elon College, Greg is responsible for all aspects of enrollment management at the university.

After completing an MBA at Elon in 1995, Greg moved to University Advancement where he served as Director of Reunion Giving until 1997.  Later that year, Greg returned to admissions to develop the University's international recruitment initiatives.  As director of international admissions, Greg served as Chair of the Committee for Europe, the Middle East and Africa for the European Council of International Schools.  In addition, he led recruitment tours to the Middle East and Europe.

In 1999, Greg added graduate admissions to his responsibilities and served as director of graduate and international admissions.  He was named Dean of Admissions in 2006.

A frequent presenter at professional conferences, Greg has developed workshops on a variety of recruitment topics including international recruitment travel, strategic planning, marketing and access in higher education, the role of parents in the university admissions process, and financial aid policy.In addition to his membership in both the Southern Association of College Admissions Counseling (SACAC) and the National Association of College Admissions Counseling (NACAC) he most recently served on the North Carolina  ACT Council.
