Immerse yourself in the culture, the diversity and the creative excitement of Hollywood!

Study USA LA invites you – Elon students and non-Elon students – to embrace and dive into exciting opportunities that await you in a semester at Elon University Los Angeles. Through career-focused academic classes taught by industry professionals to a fully immersive experiential learning internship, you will have a unique opportunity to challenge yourself and thrive in one of the most exciting cities in the world.

With sprawling Los Angeles at your feet, wherever you go, you’re never far from where history happened and where the future is being built all around you.

Based at The Preserve, a historic landmark campus, in Hollywood, you will be just steps away from where the birth of the movie industry began back in 1910. That was D.W. Griffith’s “In Old California.” Today’s creative industries have exploded into the kind of content creation, the tools used to capture that content and the platforms onto which that content can be seen globally in ways that pioneers like Griffith and his peers never could have imagined and could have never seen coming.

It’s a revolutionary time to be in Los Angeles for all creative industries and for the professions and professionals that support those industries. Join us for a semester in Hollywood and discover the path you can pave for your own revolutionary success.

Elon student Max Quatroche

Following his time at Elon, Max Quatroche ‘26 will enroll in the University of Southern California’s screenwriting program at the John Wells Division of Writing for Screen & Television.

As I reflect on my years at Elon, the LA experience was certainly a pivotal moment in my academic career. When I was in the thick of balancing two internships and the Elon courses, I came to a realization — that this industry is going to be my passion, my fuel, and my purpose. I loved every breathing minute of it, and the experience.
