The music theatre major will appear in an episode scheduled to air Monday, Aug. 19 at 9 p.m.
Chris Wood, a 2010 graduate of Elon’s acclaimed music theatre program, stars in “Major Crimes,” a police TV drama series on the cable channel TNT. Wood appears in an episode scheduled to air on Monday, Aug. 19 at 9 p.m. (EST)
Elon audiences will remember Wood as Sweeney in Sweeney Todd, Fred/Petruchio in Kiss Me, Kate, among other roles. Since graduating from Elon, Wood has played Melchoir in the national tour of Spring Awakening, Joe Hardy in Damn Yankees at Paper Mill Playhouse and appeared in several TV shows.
Wood has also reportedly been tapped to join the cast of HBO’s teen drama “The Carrie Diaries” for its second season.
