The mission of the Chandler Family Professional Sales Center is to promote professional selling and sales management, provide high-quality instruction to both students and sales executives, and conduct research that advances the field of sales.

The Chandler Family Center's goals are threefold: To provide experiences that are relevant, practical and engaging; to offer local firms the latest sales knowledge and skills; and to connect students with local and national employers.

 

About the Chandlers

The Chandler Family Professional Sales Center was endowed by Thomas E. Chandler, owner of Chandler Concrete Company, and his family. Chandler Concrete has been family owned and operated for more than 35 years. Based in Burlington, the company operates in North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. The Chandlers credit a powerful, focused sales philosophy for much of their company's success.

Tom Chandler has been an Elon Trustee since 1999. He is a member of the board's executive committee, and serves as chair of the development committee and vice-chair of the campaign leadership committee. He and his wife, Lynn, have been loyal donors to Elon and made a generous gift supporting the construction of the Koury Business Center, the home of the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business since 2006.
