About the Chandler Family Professional Sales Center
The Chandler Family Professional Sales Center was endowed in 2008 by Thomas E. Chandler, owner of Chandler Concrete Company, and his family. The center is located on the first floor of Richard W. Sankey Hall at Elon University.
The Chandler Family Center’s goals are:
- To provide experiences that are relevant, practical and engaging
- To offer firms the latest sales knowledge and skills
- To connect students with local and national employers
- To conduct research that advances the field of sales.
The Chandler Family Center is a full member of the University Sales Center Alliance (USCA), a consortium of sales centers located in universities throughout the United States.
About the Chandler Family
Chandler Concrete has been family owned and operated for more than 35 years. Based in Burlington, the company operates in North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. The Chandlers credit a powerful, focused sales philosophy for much of their company’s success.
Tom Chandler has been an Elon Trustee since 1999. He is a member of the board’s executive committee, and serves as chair of the development committee and vice-chair of the campaign leadership committee. He and his wife, Lynn, have been loyal donors to Elon and made a generous gift supporting the construction of the Koury Business Center, the home of the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business since 2006.
