Vehicle Driver Approval List

As part of our risk management program, Elon requires any faculty, staff or student who will be driving a university vehicle to register with the Office of the Assistant Vice President of Business and Finance. Persons registering must bring their valid driver's license to Alamance 113 (Valerie Cheek) to be added to our drivers list. The list is periodically checked by the Department of Motor Vehicle Records for drivers who are at high risk. All persons registered with Business and Finance are permitted to drive university cars.

Faculty, staff or students wishing to drive a university van must take the van drivers training class and pass the written and driving test. Classes are held several times per semester. Persons can register for the van drivers training class at the Front Desk in the Moseley Center.
