A Note of Impact:
I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your continued support of my Elon education. I had the privilege of receiving your scholarship aid last year, and I’m honored to carry on your name this year as well. Your financial support makes a huge impact for my family and truly makes my future dreams and endeavors become more of a reality.
This year has been full of many exciting accomplishments and discoveries. In May, I finished my sophomore year as a BFA Musical Theatre major. This past spring semester, I added a double major with Arts Administration and a minor in Business. With this new major, I will learn more regarding the business aspects of arts organizations. This training will help me in my future endeavors of operating my own arts organization, such as a pre-professional dance and theatre training program. In addition to my studies, I began working as a tutor at Altamahaw-Ossipee Elementary School with the America Reads Foundation. This past year, I assisted Mrs. Herron’s kindergarten classroom, working with students one-on-one as they learned their alphabet, numbers, how to read, and more. This was perhaps one of my proudest accomplishments of this year, as I could truly see the direct impact my time had on these developing minds. I performed in main stage productions of “Parade” and “Cats,” and choreographed a piece to “Can’t Help Falling in Love” for my program’s annual showcase. This summer, I had an internship at Cortland Repertory Theatre in upstate New York. This experience gave me the opportunity to explore the administrative tasks of an arts organization. In addition, I had the opportunity to perform in four very different productions: a children’s production of “The Velveteen Rabbit,” “La Cage aux Folles,” “Footloose,” and Agatha Christie’s “Appointment with Death.” This summer taught me a great deal about myself, and it was made possible by Elon University. I can’t thank you enough for your continued support. Wishing all the best for you and your family.
Thank you,
Elon Student ’26
