Brief Biography
Antoinette Polito has been a physician assistant since 1999; she is an alumnx of the Duke University PA Program. Her clinical experience includes rural primary care and academic oncology. She has been a full-time PA educator since 2009 and joined the faculty at Elon in 2019. Her research interests include LGBTQ healthcare, the impact of weight stigma in healthcare, and the intersections of the humanities and medicine. Dr. Polito holds an EdD from Northeastern University.
