Emily Witthohn

Emily Witthohn '14 joined the Elon University Advancement team in January of 2024, bringing nearly a decade of experience in Corporate and Foundation Relations. Emily takes a holistic approach to building corporate relationships, considering components beyond philanthropic interests as a means to understand and construct partnerships that are mutually beneficial, dynamic, and stand the tests of time. 

Emily's a lifelong learner, who greatly enjoys meeting with faculty and academic program administrators to get a sense of their work, and discover what resources they need to take it to the next level. She seeks to matchmake these needs with external funding sources, leveraging a broad network of Corporate and Foundation contacts.

Outside of the office, Emily is involved with NACRO (Network for Academic Corporate Relations Officers), leading the Southeast Regional group and sitting on various committees. On weekends she can be found sipping coffee on the back porch, playing referee between her son and her two dogs, and attending Sunday church services.
