Brief Biography

Dr. Carl Niedziela has a Ph.D. in Plant Physiology. His specialization is in the mineral nutrition of horticultural crops, He has authored or co-authored more than thirty peer reviewed scientific publications, several trade-journal articles, and numerous proceedings abstracts. His research involves developing and testing cultural practices for the commercial production of high value crops in greenhouses, hydroponics, and other controlled environments. At Elon, he has taught several different biology and general science courses.
