Brief Biography

Hi, I’m Ivie Shelton, the Assistant Director of Sport Programs at Elon University. I oversee both the Club Sports and Intramural programs, and I’m passionate about creating opportunities for students to stay active, build community, and grow through sport.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from Oklahoma State University, but it was during my time there that I discovered my love for campus recreation. I served as a club sport officer for four years and started working with both clubs and intramurals as an undergrad. That experience led me to pursue my Master’s in Sport Management at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, where I worked as a Graduate Assistant for two years.

When I’m not on campus, you’ll probably find me training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or spending time with my dog and cat.
