Jenny Lane

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. After graduating Saint Vincent College, I became a member of Elon Law’s class of 2015. My passion for teaching developed during law school, as I was an Academic Teaching Fellow during my third year, working with the 1L class to assist with their academic learning process.

I practiced public interest law as a generalist with Legal Aid of North Carolina covering practice areas such as domestic violence, public housing evictions, mortgage foreclosures, and criminal record expunctions. I later transitioned to a focus on Wills & Estates, covering nine counties throughout North Carolina. I have given various presentations on elder abuse for senior centers discussing legal options and prevention techniques available to those that suffer from physical, emotional, and financial abuse. I am excited to be back at Elon Law and giving back to the student community.

I am passionate about teaching and excited to return to Elon Law  as an Academic and Bar Skills Instructor. My mission to prepare each student for the rigorous demands of law school, help each student acheive success on the bar examination, and help them develop the habits necessary to create a thriving career. My husband I love living in North Carolina with our two dogs, Bear and Jake.
