Jonathan Miller

Jonathan Miller joined the Office of University Advancement as Director of Development in August of 2017, after serving for seven years in Elon's Department of Athletics. In his current role as Senior Director of Development and Prospect Strategy Jonathan is responsible for the university's school-based philanthropic efforts, prospect research and portfolio strategies. In addition, he maintains resposibility for individal philanthropic conversations with alumni, parents and friends. 

After serving his alma mater for five years as an Assistant Director of Athletics Ticketing, Miller came to Elon in June of 2010 as Director of Annual Giving for Athletics. He retained that responsibility when he moved into the role of Assistant Director of Athletics & Director of the Phoenix Club and and joined the Department of Athletics' senior leadership team. In this new role he led a team of 13 staff members in the areas of Athletics Ticketing, Marketing, Communications and Annual Giving. He also served as the main point of contact for Elon's corporate sponsorship partner, IMG College, and worked directly with the Women's and Men's Tennis programs. 

Miller is a 2004 graduate of UNC Chapel Hill, where he earned a bachelor's degree in communications. He later earned his Masters of Business Administration from Elon University in 2015.
