Kelly Elliston

Kelly J. Elliston joined Elon University in 2006 as the Program Assistant in the Alumni Engagement office assisting with the organization of events that involved the President, board and council members, students, alumni, parents, and friends of the university.

Mrs. Elliston currently serves as the Executive Assistant to the President, joining the Presidents office in February of 2021. She previously served as the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of University Advancement and Associate Vice President of University Advancement. She coordinateed and managed the everyday operations of the Advancement office. She worked closely with the President’s office with preparation of briefing materials and travel itineraries for the President and Vice President, drafting and editing correspondence, and maintaining personal interaction with university donors.

Prior to joining Elon, Kelly spent 15 years with HealthSouth Nittany Valley Rehabilitation Hospital working with the outpatient division coordinating patient relations and insurance benefits. Earlier in her career she worked for the South Carolina Research Authority as an Administrative Assistant and with the Department of Defense at Tinker Air Force Base as a Management Assistant.

In 2017, Kelly received the Staff Member of the Year Award for Professional Hourly for Elon. 

Kelly is a native of Shawnee, Oklahoma and is married to Mark Elliston. They reside in Elon and have two sons, Luke and Logan.
