Research interest: Behavioral ecology of small mammals
Ongoing research project of the small mammal community of Loy Farm, using mark-recapture trapping. Species identified at the farm from this research includes hispid cotton rat, southern-short-tailed shrew, house mouse, white footed mouse, and eastern harvest mouse. Future research plans include further investigation of the eastern harvest mouse, as very little work has been done on this species, especially in the Piedmont region
