Brief Biography

Dr. Dailey joined the Elon PA faculty in August of 2022.  Prior to Elon, Dr. Dailey worked for 12 years at other PA programs in Knoxville, TN and Asheville, NC.  Prior to joining academia, he worked in emergency departments around the Smoky Mountains.  Dr. Dailey discovered his passion for teaching while serving as a clinical preceptor for PA students.  He has a doctorate in Health Education, a master's in PA Studies, and Bachelor's in Spanish.  He is originally from Texas and has lived in Utah, Tennessee, and North Carolina.  Dr. Dailey and his spouse, Rachel, have 7 children, and they enjoy spending time hiking and playing outdoors.  Dr. Dailey recently decided to embrace the Appalachian culture around him by trying to learn the banjo.
