Sophia Darmelio

As the assistant director of marketing communications, Sophia manages content for the Elon College, College of Arts and Sciences. Before joining Elon University, Sophia was the marketing strategist for the West Virginia University Division for Land-Grant Engagement, where she developed and executed marketing strategies, wrote news releases and maintained and updated website content. Sophia's career also includes experience in health care marketing and donor engagement communications. She holds a masters degree in Integrated Marketing Communications and a bachelors degree in strategic communication.
