During winter term of the first year, Fellows take HST241 American History Study Tour. This history course is taught by two professors and begins with a few days of class on campus. Students then embark on a two-week bus tour during which time they visit historical sites along the Eastern seaboard, in locations such as Williamsburg, Boston, and Philadelphia. Through this experience, the students listen to historical interpretation and learn to critically assess the values and motivations of the interpreters.
