I have been in the sales and marketing end of the masonry business for 40 years. I started my career in Northern VA, then Norfolk and back to Richmond. My focus has been in commercial sales and I deal mainly with the Architectural Community.
I have been married for 34 years and have 2 children. My son is 30 and my daughter is 26.
Who would you particularly like to see at the reunion?
I am hoping to see as many of my fraternity brothers as possible. I am excited about the sorority reunions and I know that they will have a great turn out. Looking forward to seeing them as well.
How many (and/or) who of your classmates do you still keep in contact with today?
I probably speak to about 20-25 classmates on a consistent basis. But I really enjoy seeing many of them on Facebook.
What is your favorite Elon memory?
I have to say that living in the fraternity house and the bonds that you build in that environment. I also have a fond memory of my teachers and how much they cared about us. Elon was a lot smaller then and we looked out for each other.
What is something interesting that you want your classmates to know about you?
The Architectural community that I have served for about 40 years made me an Honorary Virginia AIA member in 2005.
In 2016, I was made a Honorary Richmond Chapter AIA member. (AIA- American Institute of Architects).
My son Patrick is a 2013 graduate of the Virginia Military Institute and my wife and I were Co-Presidents of the 2013 VMI Parents Council. That was a great honor and a lot of fun.
