The Elon University BioBus system provides free transportation to all Elon students, faculty, staff and community members. The buses use biodiesel fuel, which is blended with vegetable/animal oils and ultra low sulfur diesel fuel. There are 4 routes, each with live NextBus tracking, which allows riders to know when a bus will be at their planned stop.
New protocols for BioBus Covid-19 response: Face coverings are required while on the BioBus. Hand sanitizer will be provided when entering the BioBus. The BioBus will be sanitized every 2-3 hours and will be fogged at the end of each day.
