Brief Biography

Dr. Bono-Lunn, an Assistant Professor of Political Science and Public Policy, joined Elon in August 2020. She holds a PhD in Public Policy from the Department of Public Policy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was a member of the Royster Society of Fellows. Dr. Bono-Lunn also holds an MA in Public Policy, also from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also earned her MSc in International Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She received her B.A. in Economics and German from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG).  Her research interests are in the areas of applied public and labor economics, focusing on labor and social safety net policies in advanced industrialized countries.
