Laurie Judge

Laurie heads up the career advising team for Elon College, the College of Arts & Sciences advising students and alumni in all career-related areas and working closely with CAS faculty and staff to support career programming for 21 departments and 50+ majors within the College.  She manages the SPDC’s Don’t Cancel Class (DCC) program for all Elon University faculty requesting classroom presentations related to career development topics.  She also manages the Elon Year of Service Fellows program.

Prior to joining Elon, Laurie spent the bulk of her career working in the Midwest where she worked in Career Development, Training & Development, Association Management, and Adult Education & Literacy.  In addition to teaching Career & Life Planning courses in her previous role in Career Development, she served as an adjunct college instructor for ten years teaching in the areas of Business Communication, Professional Development, and Business Foundations as well as the First-Year Experience.

In her free time, Laurie enjoys reading, running, cycling, and spending time with her family.
