Canvas Transition Hub
Elon University’s central location for updates, guidance, and support as the campus community transitions to Canvas.
This site will be updated regularly with new information, resources, and opportunities to engage throughout the transition. Site content currently is directed toward instructors and will be updated with content directed toward students this summer.
As our campus prepares for the adoption of Canvas for Fall 2026, this hub serves as a starting place to explore, learn, and begin preparing. When you’re ready, you can begin exploring Canvas and preparing your courses with support available every step of the way.
Students will gain access to Canvas later this summer, and courses will not be taught in Canvas until Fall 2026.
When you’re ready, here are a few ways to begin:
Getting started with Canvas
Start here to explore Canvas and get familiar with how it works.
- Log in and access your Canvas dashboard
- Explore your courses or sandbox environment

- Learn where to find help and support
You don’t need to take action right away. You can begin exploring now or come back at a time that works best for you.
