Purpose
This grant supports the development of students’ global engagement as they conduct research in global contexts.
Grant Description
This is a joint application by one (or more) faculty mentor(s) and one (or more) student researcher(s). Each member of the team should complete the relevant parts of the cover sheet and the project proposal. Grants awarded in fall of up to $1,000 must be spent in the current fiscal year before May 1. Grants must be used to support the research process (e.g., materials, travel to collect data) for the faculty mentor(s) and/or student(s). Please note that these grants will not fund Study abroad/Study USA program costs or travel to present the research. A one-page report detailing the educational benefits to the student related to global engagement will be due at the conclusion of the academic year.
