For Campus Community

HealthEU Courses

HealthEU (HEU) courses are designed to help students develop the knowledge, skills and habits that support lifelong wellness. Students can enroll in courses that explore one or more dimensions of well-being — community, emotional, financial, physical, purpose and social. While each course may focus on specific dimensions, all emphasize the interconnected nature of wellness and well-being.

Offered through the Dr. Jo Watts Williams School of Education, HEU courses encourage students to complement their academic pursuits with wellness-focused learning. Through hands-on activities, discussion and reflection, students gain practical skills, explore topics related to health and wellness, and apply what they learn to their academic, professional and personal lives.

Student Well-Being Connectors

The HealthEU Student Well-Being Connectors play a key role in advancing the university’s strategic goal of cultivating a culture of health and well-being on a vibrant residential campus. Student Well-Being Connectors are part-time student employees who support HealthEU initiatives through peer engagement, outreach and programming.

Student Connectors advance HealthEU priorities by designing, promoting and facilitating activities and programs that help students build healthy habits, strengthen resilience, foster connection and navigate campus resources. Through their work, Connectors help create opportunities for students to engage in wellness practices while supporting a culture of well-being across the Elon community.

New Connectors are hired each spring. Interested students should keep an eye on the Elon Job Network for future opportunities.
