Academic Achievements

Elon University offers a way for students and parents to publicize their President’s List and Dean’s List achievements. Announcements on this website can be shared on social media and printed for distribution to local newspapers. You are encouraged to add additional information to the announcement when sending to local newspapers such as hometown, family members, academic major, awards and honors, extracurricular involvement, community service and high school alma mater.

The President’s List is composed of students with no grade below an A-minus in a minimum of 12 semester hours. The Dean’s List is composed of students with no grade below a B-minus and a grade point average of at least 3.50 in a minimum of 12 semester hours.

We encourage you to submit this announcement to your local newspaper. Some newspapers welcome photos to accompany the announcement. Check with your hometown paper for more information.

All questions about the criteria for the President’s List and Dean’s List and an individual student’s qualifications for the honors should be directed to the Office of the Registrar at (336) 278-6677 during normal business hours. There may be a delay in the reporting of grades for students studying abroad. These lists will be continually updated once all grades are received.
