Senior marketing major Jennifer Small represented Elon University at the World Collegiate Sales Open (WCSO) February 23-26.
After successfully competing against 200 students in the WCSO’s first three rounds, Small advanced to the finals where she placed third in the reverse job fair event.
The WCSO is hosted by Northern Illinois University and includes the following events: voice mail, appointment call, elevator pitch, reverse job fair and telephone sales call.
“Jennifer and her assistant coach, Brian Serow ’12, did a phenomenal job in representing Elon,” said Michael Rodriguez, faculty coach and assistant professor of marketing. “At the competition, I received rave reviews from both recruiters and other faculty on their professionalism, confidence, energy and pride of Elon.”
