Kramer recently got a tattoo after the Class of 2025 surpassed his challenge for at least 85% of graduates to pass the bar exam on the first try.
Elon University School of Law Dean Zak Kramer and the Class of 2025’s record-setting bar exam performance appeared in a Sept. 19 article in People magazine.
The story highlights a challenge Kramer made to the Class of 2025: If at least 85% of graduates passed the bar exam on their first attempt, he would get a tattoo. The class surpassed the goal with a 90.9% overall first-time passage rate among graduates taking the exam in North Carolina and 11 other states.
Kramer followed through on Sept. 4, getting “One and Done” tattooed on his left arm, a reference to Elon Law’s focus on passing the bar examination on the first attempt.
The article also highlighted Elon Law’s 91.96% first-time passage rate on the North Carolina Bar Examination and its accelerated 2.5-year J.D. program.
