Mass

Catholic Life celebrates multiple Masses on Sundays during the Elon University academic year. All students, faculty, staff, and community members are invited to join us every Sunday. You can worship with us on at either the Numen Lumen Pavilion on campus or in the Elon Community Church, at the corner of Haggard and Williamson Avenues. If you have family or friends visiting, or if you are an alumni stopping by, everyone is welcome! CCM celebrates weekday Masses as well in the Numen Lumen Pavilion. Here is our typical schedule:

Sunday

10:00 am – Numen Lumen Pavilion
5:00 pm – Elon Community Church

Tuesday & Friday

12:15 pm – Numen Lumen Pavilion

Every once in a while, Mass times or locations may change. This may happen on Family Weekend, for Mass on the Grass, or on Easter Sunday. If this is the case, listen for an announcement at preceding Masses, or you can always check out the CCM website! Masses are usually not scheduled during the summer or when Elon is not in session (Christmas break, Fake break).

Adoration

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is held every first Friday of the month, from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm (before the 12:15 pm daily Mass), in the Numen Lumen Pavilion. All are welcome to spend time in the true presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.

Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation (also known as Penance or Confession) is a wonderful gift we have as Catholics. In it we find God’s unconditional forgiveness, and as a result we are called to forgive others. Reconciliation is offered before Sunday Masses, but remember to give Fr. Peter some advance notice. You can also contact him to request an appointment anytime during the week.
