College Consensus is a college ranking aggregator that combines scores from major college rankings and student review sites.

College Consensus, a new approach to college quality measurement, ranks Elon University #61 in the nation and #3 in North Carolina. The organization arrives at its rankings by combining the results of “all the most reputable college ranking publishers and thousands of real student reviews from around the web."

Elon’s national ranking of #61 among 1,062 colleges and universities is based on Elon’s evaluation in college rankings by U.S. News & World Report, Forbes, the Center for College Affordability and Productivity and Washington Monthly, along with student reviews posted on Niche, Unigo, My Plan, Cappex and Students Review.

North Carolina has entered the 21st century as one of the most promising states in the US, with a growing population and growing wealth and influence, and its model colleges and universities deserve a great deal of gratitude.”
