There are many exciting events scheduled at Elon Law during National Pro Bono Celebration Week. Some of the events include, but are not limited to:
Ask a Lawyer Walk-in Help Day-October 19: This is a great way for students to earn a few pro bono hours while interacting with attorneys and those in need. The event will be held at Elon Law on October 19, from 10:00am-2:00pm. Law student volunteers are being sought for this event. If you would like to volunteer for a shift, or for the full day, please submit your sign up to Daniel Dziuban.
Pro Bono Public Interest Fair-October 21: There will be a pro bono/public interest fair on Monday, October 21, in the Commons from 11:30-1:00pm. Pro Bono and Public Interest partners and organizations from around the region will be in attendance to meet and network with students.
From the Client's Perspective Breakfast, October 22: Held from 8:00-9:00am, law students will be treated to breakfast while they hear the moving story of an individual who benefited from Elon Law student pro bono service.
Dessert, Dollars and Sense: Debt Relief Through Public Service- October 23: Join Elon's own Lynette Lorenzetti from 12:00-1:00pm for dessert, while she demonstrates the ways student loan debt can be relieved though pro bono and public interest work.
