Study Abroad

About seventy percent of students study abroad during their time at Elon. Many faculty members from Elon's Department of Political Science and Public Administration have taught study abroad courses:

• Chalmers Brumbaugh directs the Winter Term Costa Rica course.
• Betty Morgan and Sharon Spray have taught the Winter Term London course.
• George Taylor and Laura Roselle have directed the London semester program.

Recently, two departmental students spent a semester in Ghana, taking courses at the University of Ghana and interning at the Center for Democracy and Development, a prestigious advocacy and think tank that promotes democratic practices in Africa.

Majors have also had semester study abroad experiences in London, Dublin, Australia, Ecuador, Spain and France.
