Elon has adopted a notification system, powered by Omnilert, that enables the university to send urgent news to your cell phone. Once you sign up for the service, Elon can text your cell phone and email you timely information about emergencies, class cancellations, and important weather information.*
To receive these emergency messages, you must register and select the Emergency Notifications Group. Your personal information will not be released and will be used solely for selected notifications. There is no charge from Elon to use the service. The service is available to all current students, faculty and staff of Elon University.*
