Campus Safety and Police is committed to fostering a safe environment for all who live, study, and work here. Though police and security officers patrol the campus 24/7 all year, no security force can always have an officer present before a crime occurs. Safety Services & Resources

Security Escorts

The Office of Campus Safety and Police will provide a Security Escort Service from 7:00 p.m.- 7:00 a.m. to and from on campus locations. Students, faculty, or staff on campus can call (336) 278-5555.

Event Security

To provide for the health and safety of our community, the University requires those organizations hosting on-campus events that include alcohol (or late night alcohol-free parties) to work with Campus Safety and Police to hire off-duty police officers (1 per 100 guests) for the duration of the event.
