ALS patient, founder of Inspire MEdia Network to visit Elon – Oct. 4

Chris Rosati, founder of the North Carolina-based Inspire MEdia Network who today lives with ALS, will visit Elon University on Sunday, Oct. 4, to give a motivational talk on staying happy, worrying less, and doing great things with your life.

His 20-minute talk begins at 3 p.m. in Room 212 of McCoy Commons in the Oaks residential neighborhood.

Rosati was diagnosed with ALS five years ago and, according to Elon senior Alida Zimmerman, who works with Inspire MEdia Network, wanted to show his children how to be a good person with the time he had left.

“So he tried to steal a Krispy Kreme donut truck to give out donuts to make people smile,” Zimmerman said. “Luckily, Krispy Kreme caught onto the idea, and ever since that infamous donut heist Chris and the Inspire MEdia Network have been spreading kindness around the world.”

Rosati will deliver his talk through a computer. For more information on Rosati and his work, click here.
