Joshua Carswell '11 to perform in Carnegie Hall's Isaac Stern Auditorium 

Carswell, a Presser Music Scholar, will perform on Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. during the "Rhapsody in Bluegrass: The Art of American Music" concert.

Joshua Carswell ’11, a Presser Music Scholar, will perform on Jan. 22 in Carnegie Music Hall’s Isaac Stern Auditorium. Carswell will be the featured guest artist for the concert “Rhapsody in Bluegrass: The Art of American Music” by top-ten Billboard charting artists the Annie Moses Band. 

Rhapsody in Bluegrass is a tour-de-force of musical Americana. Showcasing dueling strings in challenging virtuosic passages and a heartfelt lyricism, the Annie Moses Band combines technical skill with exhilarating showmanship. Carswell will be performing his electrifying version of “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry” as well as the beloved gospel hymn “Oh Happy Day”.

Carswell resides in Nashville, Tennessee, where he works as a recording artist and vocal coach. His first two albums are available on ManAlive Records (www.joshuacarswell.com)
