Claussen’s article is included in Virtue Ethics, edited by Tom Angier (Routledge, 2018).

An article by Geoffrey Claussen, Lori and Eric Sklut Scholar in Jewish Studies and associate professor and chair of the Department of Religious Studies, has been republished in a new collection of essays on virtue ethics.

The collection edited by Tom Angier titled “Virtue Ethics” spans four volumes and is published by Routledge.

According to Routledge, “The editor has carefully assembled classic contributions, as well as more recent work, to create a one-stop ‘mini library’ of the best and most influential scholarship” on virtue-centered approaches to ethics.

Claussen’s article, “A Jewish Perspective on War, Scripture, and Moral Accounting,” was first published in the Journal of Scriptural Reasoning in 2015.
