Patrick Rudd and Jennifer Smith presented at the Librarians’ Association at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill 2019 Conference.
Rudd, coordinator of library instruction and outreach services, and Smith, serials and documents specialist, discussed a long-term needs assessment plan they developed utilizing focus groups with underrepresented students to discuss these student’s experiences in the library in order to study and improve the library’s climate of diversity and inclusivity.
