Four Commencement ceremonies in four days. For much of the past week, Elon University has been in full celebration mode to honor the class of 2010, which included more than 1,300 students in the university's undergraduate and graduate programs. The Interactive Media program awarded 36 master’s degrees to its inaugural class Thursday evening, and on Friday, the MBA program conferred 51 degrees, the largest class in the program’s history.
Rain held out for most of Saturday morning, and the 120th Commencement Exercises took place Under the Oaks as planned with 1,118 seniors receiving degrees in front of an audience of more than 10,000 guests.
The Elon University School of Law wrapped up the week’s celebrations with its ceremony Sunday afternoon, conferring 98 Juris Doctor degrees.
