The president and CEO of Glen Raven Inc. is on the "10 to Watch" list by the Triad Business Journal.
The Business Journal detailed Gant’s record of innovation in his family-owned textile company, which serves the global marketplace. Glen Raven is redeveloping an existing factory into a $10 million, highly automated yarn plant in Burlington, N.C., with completion scheduled for this year. The company has also secured a major contract to supply headliners for Ford trucks in 2014.
The Business Journal’s annual “10 to Watch” list identifies key business leaders who will play crucial roles in the Piedmont Triad economy in the year ahead.
Gant has served on the Elon University Board of Trustees for more than 15 years, including three years as board chair, and served as co-chair of the Ever Elon Campaign. He received an honorary doctorate from Elon in 2010.
