Beta Alpha Psi welcomes new members

Thirteen accounting and finance students were welcomed into the Lambda Xi chapter of Beta Alpha Psi Feb. 12 in the LaRose Digital Theatre.

Beta Alpha Psi

Beta Alpha Psi is a nonprofit national honorary society and service organization for students in the fields of accounting, finance and information systems.

The following students were initiated into Beta Alpha Psi:

Erica Green
Seth Kahl
Evan Kleiss
Georganne Kubic
Mitchell Mayer
Mallory Owens
Jessica Riemann
Tayler Sirabella
John David Thomson
Andrew Tyner
Hannah Wentz

These students have met the requirements for full membership into Beta Alpha Psi, which include paying dues, maintaining a 3.0 GPA overall, having a 3.0 GPA in an upper level finance or accounting class, and being an associate member for one semester.

The Elon chapter of BAP works to create relationships between students, professionals, and educators. They hold weekly meetings and invite business professionals to come and share their experiences and provide guidance with the members. BAP has also held many events such as the Meet and Greet, Graduate School Forum and Etiquette Diner, and members of Elon’s BAP have participated in service activities as well.
